Bookkeeper

• Working at a variety of client’s premises when needed as well as in our office using mainly QuickBooks, Xero, Excel and Sage, there are various other accounting packages that clients use - but training will be given on these.
• Carry out general bookkeeping for individual clients.
• Accurately prepare quarterly VAT Returns and any relevant documents and ensure deadlines are met using a variety of different accounting packages and software.
• Keep an accurate record of time spent on each individual job, recording any relevant issues or queries.
• Accurately maintain and update manual and computer records.
• Attend training, as required, to develop relevant knowledge skills
• Comply with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Attend team meetings to develop ideas for progressing the business.
• Carry out any other duties appropriate to the post.
• Salary dependant upon experience.
• Must have previous bookkeeping experience.

Skills
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
