Bookkeeper / Accountant

Bookkeeper / Accountantwith in-depth knowledge and experience. This position also requires experience with QuickBooks. The company enjoys a significant presence within the renewable sector.

SALARY: GBP16.50 per Hour

LOCATION: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands (This is 100% Office Based and Candidates Must Live within a Commutable Distance to the Office)

JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 24 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday (with the option for more hours should the need arise)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Bookkeeper / Accountant who has in-depth accounts experience and has used QuickBooks.

Working as the Bookkeeper / Accountant you will record all company's spending; including purchases, invoices, payroll, sales and provide accurate information on company outgoings for the purposes of filing accounts.

As the Bookkeeper / Accountant you will be expected to be organised, efficient and skilled at keeping track of the various types of spending by the company as well as preparing management accounts, including financial planning.

The ideal candidate would have a proven track record of working with the QuickBooks package, which is essential for this role.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Bookkeeper / Accountant include:

• Regular reconciliations of statements both Sales and Purchase ledger

• Maintaining accurate financial records

• Communicating with the account teams and clients via email, phone, and face to face

• Familiar with working with CMS and other digital platforms

• Promptly resolving any discrepancies

• Assisting with credit control activities

• Accurately recording intercompany loans and transaction

• Preparing accounts and tax returns

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in working in a similar account's role is essential

• Ability to work within a team

• Ability to multi-task

• Demonstrate excellent organisational skills

• Possess a minimum qualification of level 3-4 AAT qualification or equivalent

• Experience in using QuickBooks software is essential
