Our client is looking for an experienced bookkeeper, this could be Part time or full time with some flexibility on the working hours.
Responsibilities:
Purchase Ledger
General Ledger
Sales Ledger
Petty Cash management
Credit control
Payroll, including PAYE, NI, Pensions, etc.
Recording and reconciliation of VAT
Liaison with HMRC
Bank Reconciliations
General banking
Requirements
Previous bookkeeping experience
A thorough working knowledge of managing accounts in QuickBooks.
Computer literacy, especially familiarity with the suite of Microsoft Office
Interpersonal and customer service skills for dealing with customers, suppliers and other employees across the organisation.
Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial matters in accessible terms.
A minimum of five years of accounts management/bookkeeping experience.
A degree or certification in bookkeeping or accountancy.
