We are working with a growing property business based in the heart of Northampton who are looking to hire a time-served bookkeeper who will play a crucial part in the finance department. The successful candidate will be detail-orientated and organised, ready to hit the ground running from day one.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9am - 1pm (hours can be flexible)
- 20-hours per week
Duties:
- Data entry of financial transactions into the accounting systems
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist with account payables and receivables
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department
Requirements and Qualification:
- Accounting qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, AAT (preferred)
- Experience in an administrative or accounting role
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Particularly Excel)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively
