An independently owned and highly-respected south-Kent firm of chartered accountants (recently under new ownership) now has another exciting opening for an accounts semi-senior.

The firm has a loyal client base in Kent, predominately composed of small to medium-sized owner-managed businesses, but is now looking to broaden this client portfolio and continue to build its footprint.

This accounts/bookkeeping semi-senior opportunity sits with the bulk of the accounts team, but there is plenty of opportunity for further progression as the firm grows.

Key duties and responsibilities of the accounts semi-senior role:

• A range of bookkeeping duties dependent on the client requirements
• Accounts production and (some review) for varied client base
• Both corporate and personal tax compliance duties
• Review of some higher-level bookkeeping duties
• Some management accounting duties

What about you?

• AAT qualified with 3 - 7 years Practice experience
• Able to complete a job through to manager review
• Ability to offer assistance to junior members of staff
• Able to work to tight deadlines
• Build a good raport with clients
