Embark on a rewarding journey as a Branch Manager in our Road Freight product based in Bradford.
Experienced in running international road freight operations (including groupage, full and part trailer loads) you will be a proven leader who can lead and manage teams to create a well-organised, cost-effective, safe and secure environment.

What will you be doing?
- Managing operational and admin teams, covering recruitment, development, and performance.
- Ensure the branch aligns with financial, quality, and workforce plans.
- Establish and achieve KPI's and performance targets.
- Plan and organise operations for safe and efficient goods movement.
- Provide sales support in managing customer service expectations and opening new accounts.
- Build positive, cost-effective relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor and review Branch operations for effectiveness and improvement opportunities.
- P&L management.
- Delivery of budget targets.
- Drive a culture of health and safety and continuous improvement.
About You
- Extensive knowledge and experience of international road transport operations (both managing own assets and sub-contractors) across UK and Europe, including Ireland (groupage and FTL/LTL)
- Experience in short sea trailer operations throughout UK & Europe including working knowledge of customs and incoterms.
- Management experience in a fast-moving distribution environment with budgetary controls and KPI management
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills with experience managing change.
- High level of commercial aptitude.
- Previous experience of managing health and safety.
- Excellent written, verbal, and IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Flexible and proactive approach.
- Capable of building relationships at all levels.
