Your new team
This position sits in our Global Travel Retail business. Global Travel Retail is one of the Group’s largest markets, bringing Pernod Ricard brands to life in the exciting and innovative Travel Retail channel which includes duty-free, cruise ships & border shops around the globe. With a global footprint across more than 20 locations and over 30 nationalities, our working culture celebrates inclusion and diversity. As a Brand Manager, you will have the responsibility to develop our White Spirits & Emerging brands in global travel retail markets. Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for effectively understanding, adapting and implementing global brand strategies. You will lead the development and progression of integrated and innovative programmes for our brands. Collaborating with the Brand Company, Global Travel Retail Business Units and internal/external partners to align on brands strategy and activation plans against business objectives. You will ultimately be responsible for how our brands are activated throughout path to purchase. This may include above the line and below the line activations.
Your unique contribution
You will have plenty responsibilities:
  • Understand travel retail consumer behaviours, trends, needs and challenges, to effectively apply the knowledge to consumer-first thinking. Consumer inspired insight must be at the heart of all decisions.
  • Support Marketing Manager, shaping long term & short term brand strategy and driving brand portfolio strategy and innovation pipeline.
  • Lead NPD process from planning to launch managing each gate and coordinate relevant stakeholders (including brand company, logistic team, finance, business units and etc).
  • Lead the development of global brand activations to support NPD launch and global activations including global toolkit development, assets development, digital/physical consumer experience and instore activation coordination with BU.
  • Lead the development of always-on brand assets including brand merchandising guidelines, communication assets and consumer engagement.
  • Work closely with Consumer Engagement team to develop 360 degree consumer communication and engagement plan including digital media, OOH, PR and EC&CRM collaboration in key markets
  • Lead the daily communication with brand company and business unites making sure the alignment of global strategy and local implementation.
  • Coordinate and well communicate with internal stakeholders including REX, Retail Training, Insight team, logistic team, finance, BU and etc.
  • Effectively manage the external partners including creative agencies, digital agencies, media, retailers (for relevant marketing campaign only) and etc.
  • Effectively monitor and manage brand A&P budgets to ensure proper alignment with key strategic initiatives and annual finance process
  • Deliver other ad-hoc brand projects on a timely manner.
Who you’ll be working with
Internally, you’ll work with Brand Companies, Global Travel Retail Business Units, Strategy & Insights team and the Traveller Engagement team.
Externally, your contacts will be agencies.
Your blend of talent
This position could be right for you if you:
  • Previous experience in drinks industry/FMCG or premium sector and experience in both brand and trade/customer marketing is highly preferable
  • Proven record in marketing
  • Must be able to manage multiple initiatives with strong organization and project management skills
  • Thorough and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient English language skills both verbal and written
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and Business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal skill and presentation compilation
  • Can-do attitude and strong collaboration spirit
  • Energetic, proactive, convivial with strong work ethics
  • Global team experience or multi-market experience is a plus
