Yolk Recruitment are partnered with a thriving start up company based in Cardiff who are looking for a Broker Account Executive. Are you a motivated individual who is looking for a new challenge, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process loan applications ensuring all required documents are accurate and complete.
- Prepare loan files for underwriting review in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct security check calls with applicants, providing excellent customer service.
- Liaise with brokers throughout the application process.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers and brokers regarding criteria, processes, or specific cases.
- Collaborate with internal teams to find solutions for non-standard applications.
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, meeting all relevant quality assurance targets.
- Work with Business Development Managers to identify broker trends and training opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with broker partners to enhance awareness of product offerings and criteria.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Understanding of the 2nd charge broker market and MCOB rules.
- Working knowledge of T&C Scheme, FCA rules, Money Laundering, GDPR, and Data Protection.
- Preferable experience within the 2nd charge mortgage market; experience in financial services is acceptable.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Team player with a solution-focused mindset.
- CeMAP qualification is preferable.
