Broker Support Technician

You will be joining an established Lloyds broking business with an international reach across 20 + countries. Work in a collaborative environment to support the placement and servicing of open market direct & facultative risks.

Overview

• Provide full technical support to the Producing Brokers/Brokers while working within the Technical Support Team, ensuring the complete and accurate completion of the risk quotation, placement, and endorsement processes in respect of business emanating from:
• Produce and assist with the preparation of broking information and placing management for direct and open market facultative (re)insurance business. Including:

• The preparation of Market Reform Contracts and Endorsements.
• Review Client documentation/Information to ensure accurate submissions presented to Insurers/Reinsurers.
• Account placements are properly documented and relevant checklists completed.
• Confirmation and evidence of cover are prepared and issued
• Territories include North America, LATAM, Europe and Middle East.
• Risks include property and casualty classes.

• Liaise and maintain good relations with clients.

• Experience in a Lloyds Market Broker Support role
• Ability to create MRC slips and endorsements
• Analytical
• Problem-solving
• Team orientated
• Excellent communication skills dealing with a variety of people at different levels

Desirable skills

• Use of Global XB
• Exposure to North American property & casualty risks

What you need to know:

• Permanent role
• Based in the City of London for 4 days per week with 1 day at home.
