Job Description
- Conducting building surveys and preparing reports.
- Leading on property-related projects from inception to completion.
- Liaising closely with various stakeholders to ensure property standards are maintained.
- Advising on property maintenance, repair, and improvement works.
- Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant building and health and safety regulations.
- Coordinating with internal and external teams for smooth project execution.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with contractors and suppliers.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Building Surveyor should have:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
- Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit and charities sector.
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and legislation.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
