Business Development Lead
Job Purpose
This role is required to support a leading provider of clinical education and life support training alongside an increasing range of consultancy and strategic support services, to healthcare providers across the UK. The principle focus of this role is to create and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with our clients and to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.
Key Skills Required
- Support the MD and Exec Chair in managing top 10-15 clients including, client service performance monitoring, identifying and progressing new business opportunities, regular liaison to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction, identifying and mitigating potential service issues.
- Take responsibility as the lead contact for 20-30 mid-tier clients including all of the above with a view to increasing client satisfaction and spend (e.g. services cross sell etc).
- Liaise between customers and Operations to ensure issues or potential issues are mitigated.
- Responsibility for preparing tenders and re-tendering with all existing (and potential new) customers.
- Monitoring tender portals for relevant opportunities.
- Ad hoc involvement in strategic business development – looking at new service provision and marketing to existing and new customers.
- Keep abreast of competitor and market developments and feed these into the business.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
