On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Business Analyst - Scrum Master for a 6 month contract based in London (hybrid - 2/3 days in the office).
Purpose of the Role:
This role combines business analysis and Scrum Master, with time split between analysis and managing the sprint with the lead developer and the development manager.
The focus of the business is the continuous delivery of a mobile application for both Android and IOS. To this effect, we are seeking to appoint a Business Analyst / Scrum master within the GM IT Research & Content team (part of Client & Sales Facing Cross-GBL) with proven experience in working with the business and IT teams to analyze ongoing functional change within complex chains of systems and validate the implementation by actively participating to the UAT phase.
The role is highly client facing and will involve a strong interaction particularly with Product Management, Sales, Trading and Compliance in the Front Office.
Responsibilities of the role:
As a Business Analyst - Scrum Master you will be responsible for:
- Run the Sprint for the Mobile Team: follow agile methodology to plan/prioritize/release, run the daily/weekly meetings.
- Liaise with business sponsors and users to capture business requirements and provide functional specifications.
- Define, coordinate and execute front to back business level testing and the validation of new business-critical functionalities and/or bug fixes.
- Daily engagement with users to gather feedback and details about the usage of the applications maintained by the team.
- Provide and maintain user guides.
- Liaise with Development teams to ensure accurate functional coverage and validate test scenarios.
- Ensure all functional requirements are fully satisfied to a high quality prior to release.
- Identify and escalate risks and issues.
What we require from the candidate:
- Scrum master experience, running an agile process within IT.
- Business Analysis skills.
- Ability to liaise effectively with developers, business and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills as well as reporting capabilities.
- Experience in defining and executing end-to-end tests on trading systems.
- Experience in defining and detailing acceptance criteria.
- Experience with working with in-house development teams.
- Experience working in an Agile delivery methodology.
