Basic Salary Up to £60,000 dependant on experience plus 25 days holiday contributory pension scheme, choice of private medical insurance or cash plan

Our client a well-recognised national body based in the heart of London is currently recruiting for a Business Council Manager.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic programme manager to lead and manage our Business Council, a prestigious forum that brings together influential business leaders to address critical issues and drive positive change. You'll be a dynamic individual with a proven track record in programme management, stakeholder engagement and the ability to facilitate collaboration amongst diverse business leaders.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Strategic programme management
Develop and implement the overall strategy and objectives for the Business Council, aligning with the mission and strategic goals of the national body.
Oversee the planning, execution and evaluation of activities and initiatives for the Business Council to ensure it meets established objectives and contractual obligations.
Stakeholder engagement
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Business Council members, including business leaders, industry experts and key stakeholders.
Act as the main point of contact for Business Council members, addressing their needs, coordinating national body engagement, gathering feedback and ensuring members' active participation in council activities.
Collaboration and facilitation
Facilitate collaborative discussions and initiatives within the Business Council, fostering a productive and inclusive environment for members to share insights, best practices and industry expertise.
Work closely with internal teams to integrate Business Council initiatives with other programmes and activities.
Event management
Plan and execute high-profile events and meetings for the Business Council members, ensuring seamless logistics, impactful content and a positive participant experience.
Reporting and evaluation
Develop and maintain regular reports on Business Council activities, outcomes and member engagement.
Conduct evaluations to measure the effectiveness and impact of Business Council activities, making recommendations for improvements.
Person specification
Proven experience in programme management, stakeholder engagement or a related role.
Strong project management skills with a focus on
strategic planning and execution.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior business leaders.
Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in event planning and execution.
Knowledge of key business and economic issues impacting the UK.
Familiarity with CRM systems and contract management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and Powerpoint, and
other relevant applications including CRM.
