We are looking for a Business Development Executive. Reporting to the National Account Manager the successful candidate will focus on supporting and driving sales within a range of On Trade customer. As a member of the team, you will be given clear direction and support on delivering against set objectives and KPI’s within a fun and fast paced environment while being able to sell an authentic, premium beer.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsibility for growing and retaining your existing customer base and sales across your territory, working with licensed bars, restaurants, hotels, and pubs.
- Strengthen existing relationships within your territory as well as growing and developing your network further by identifying new opportunities for business.
- Strengthen existing / develop new relationships with key wholesale partners to drive distribution through their account base.
- Work closely with the wider CMBC sales force in the region to garner support winning new business as well as forming part of larger comprehensive pitches to customers.
- Effectively plan and manage the working day to ensure coverage is achieved at key trading times.
- Deliver updates on your territory at key meetings with stakeholders when required.
- Able & prepared to travel elsewhere in the UK when required, including occasional overnight stays.
- Be passionate about the industry, keeping up to date with new trends and industry news.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, sales, and inter-personal skills to create first-class customer & stakeholder relationships.
- Be ambitious with a drive to progress your career within CMBC further.
- Be commercially aware.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Live within the territory and have a full driving license.
- Experience of sales in an FMCG, retail or similar environment would be beneficial.
