With a strong commitment to sustainable growth, they are well-regarded for their large range of brands that cover all price points. They supply all major supermarkets, highstreet retailers and convenience customers.
They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their large and highly successful sales team.
Description
- Develop and implement strategic Business Development plans to expand the company's customer base in the North.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with regular face to face meetings.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to optimise sales processes.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders and proposals.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
- Report on sales activity and forecast to senior management.
Profile
We are looking for the following experience for the role of Business Development Manager:
- A proven track record in sales or Business Development, within FMCG.
- Willingness to travel across the North in order to meet your customer meet regularly.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a customer service attitude.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
