BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
(RF | SEMICON | CONSUMER ELECTRONICS)
UP TO £100,000 pa (DOE) + BENEFITS
CAMBRIDGE | HYBRID
Cambridge start-ups are an attractive proposition – for lots of reasons. The opportunity here is especially attractive – for a lot of reasons, too.
They encourage a genuinely collaborative, technical, and visionary culture. They’re a relatively small team – currently with just over 20 heads. But with Series A imminent and a sizeable investment (both time and money) in technological advancements, they’re ready to take their ground-breaking product to market.
And they need your technically aware, commercially focused approach to help them do it.
They have designed and developed a unique RF product that will completely disrupt the current fabless marketplace. With incredible leadership at the helm, and a team of intelligent software developers and engineers you’ll work alongside, you’ll utilise your network in RF and semiconductor – specifically within consumer electronics, IoT and wearable devices.
They’ll support you with share options, 25 days holiday, pension, and more.
So, what will you be doing?
Essentially, you’ll be in the proverbial start-up trenches for the first 18-24 months – identifying new revenue prospects, building strong relationships with existing pipeline, ensuring alignment across all verticals (the management team, engineering, operations) and ultimately winning deals with organisations – big and small.
It’s essential you have a network of contacts within the mobile, RF, semicon, wearables and IoT industries. You’ll need a technical mind, as you’ll be working closely with the engineers. And you’ll need to be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty with BD. Building a team and ensuring future success will come later down the line.
This is a VP of Sales role in waiting – and the company couldn’t be at a more exciting stage.
As you can probably tell, there will be a need for international travel, as well as across the UK.
