Are you passionate about driving business growth in the construction industry? Do you thrive in a role where you can make a tangible impact? Look no further! Atrium Recruitment is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead our client’s expansion efforts in the UK.
This role will be mainly UK based, but overseas Business Development may be required from time to time. You will be based in Central England and be expected to visit clients and customers office’s and attend industry exhibitions and seminars and travel to our clients London offices, when necessary.
About Our Client: Our esteemed client is a leading consultancy specializing in site investigations, survey work, laboratory testing and geotechnical/environmental services. With a strong foothold in the construction and development sectors, they are committed to delivering excellence in every project they undertake.
Key Responsibilities: As the Business Development Manager. Your tasks will include:
- Crafting and executing comprehensive business plans and growth strategies.
- Meeting monthly sales targets and budgets, both domestically and internationally.
- Establishing and nurturing long-term client relationships.
- Identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities.
- Providing technical support for tender submissions and proposals.
- Spearheading community outreach initiatives to inspire future talent in the industry.
- Develop and implements Business Plans and Growth Strategies: 1, 3 and 5 yrs.
Desirables
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Earth Sciences or related Construction Degree.
- CSCS Card.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the UK ground investigation industry.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent IT proficiency, including MS Office applications.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and construction industry contracts.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven sales and negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated with strong leadership qualities.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Full UK Drivers Licence
