Role Overview: We are searching for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to take charge of expanding our existing territory in Birmingham and its surrounding regions. The role demands proactive management, requiring independence in the field, adept support for existing customers, and the cultivation of new business opportunities. The position entails a balanced mix of remote work and customer-facing field sales.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential new business opportunities and target markets.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company’s customer base and increase revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Stay informed with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on Business Development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years proven field-based B2B Sales Representative experience.
- Familiarity with CRM practices and the ability to foster productive business relationships.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of sales success.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
