About the Team
Warwickshire Safeguarding Partnership is responsible for ensuring that agencies in Warwickshire work together to safeguard children, young people, and vulnerable adults in line with the principles set out in Working Together 2023 and the Care Act 2014.
This important work is undertaken on behalf of the Partnership by the Business Team who support the statutory safeguarding partners and wider partnership in fulfilling their duties to promote effective joint working to safeguard children, young people and vulnerable adults within the county.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Business Development Officers to join the Business Team to support the work of Warwickshire’s Safeguarding Partnership. This is a really interesting and varied role that requires an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player with a proven background in business support.
Key Requirements:
- Experience of taking minutes and supporting work arising from senior level strategic meetings and subgroups.
- Experience of setting up information systems and using database and web editing software in order to create and update information such as promotional materials and annual reports.
- Excellent communication skills, able to successfully liaise verbally and in writing with professionals and others including service users and their carers, families, and representatives.
- Ability to develop positive working relationships with a range of professionals from organisations across the safeguarding partnership.
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to independently collect, organise, interpret, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, build and maintain positive working relationships with all staff.
- Ability to problem solve and work independently and with others to devise creative solutions to work related problems.
- Ability to process confidential information appropriately and cope with the emotional demand that may arise from the information received in relation to this role.
- Experience of planning and organising training, conferences, events.
- Ability to effectively manage time, including competing priorities and demands.
