About the Opportunity
Technology, Consulting & Innovation (TC&I) provides a range of research, analysis, testing and bespoke engineering solutions for sectors including nuclear, aerospace, clean energy, infrastructure and oil and gas.

We are seeking a Business Finance and Pricing Manager to lead our Single Source Reporting (SSR) and Pricing strategies, driving robust financial management compliance and performance, maximising margin within the business and market context.

Key role responsibilities:
  • Development of, and implementation of a SSR for each contract subject to these regulations; objective to ensure compliance, and robust governance and reporting whilst maximising return on these contracts.
  • Development of, and implementation of pricing strategy including cost tower models, tailored for each business and market within T,C&I; objective being to maximise GM whilst ensuring cognisance to SSR and potential impact.
  • Upskilling the business in SSR, and Pricing strategies.
  • Monitoring compliance with the SSR, and Pricing strategies.
  • Feeding performance improvements in to the SSR and Pricing strategies.
  • Assist with cost build up preparations for grant funded projects.
  • Support preparation of financial information for auditors.
  • Attend external meetings where necessary in support of financial discussions around SSR, and grant funded projects.
  • Working seamlessly with Project Controls, Finance Business Partner, Corporate Finance, Commercial, Operational Sales, and Operational Delivery.

Here's What You'll Need:
  • Experience in SSR from a financial and commercial perspective.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle) and reporting systems (HFM).
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret and articulate insight.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in development and implementation of strategic campaigns.
  • Experience of collaborating with multiple disciplines such as finance, commercial, and delivery.
  • Ability to effectively handle change and work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.
