The Business Intelligence Analyst role
Our business is undertaking a wide-ranging programme of Digital Transformation which is fundamental to the continued success of the business. We are seeking to add a BI Analyst to our talented team of IT Professionals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights through the design, development, and implementation of Power BI solutions.
As a BI Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, create visually appealing and interactive reports, and provide actionable insights that drive informed decision-making. Reporting directly to the Enterprise Solutions Manager you will be involved in multiple projects encompassing all areas of the business including sales, finance, and operations amongst many others. Initially the role will be based onsite at our Coventry Head Office – leading to the potential for a more hybrid role.

Do you have the correct profile?

The following criteria is considered essential for this role (therefore, please only apply if you have these):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience in data visualization best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Be able to work individually as well as part of a team.
We also deem any of the following to be highly advantageous (although not essential):
- Experience in a multi-site, multi-country business
- Experience of Agile development methodology
- Knowledge of data integration tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of project lifecycles
- Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement (CRM)
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- SQL Server. (SSMS, SSAS, SSIS)
- Microsoft Azure
