Our Client, an established firm of Chartered Accountants, are looking for a Business Services Manager to join their expanding team in their modern office in the centre of Oxford.
You will be responsible for managing a mixed portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies and supervising a team of junior staff and being involved with their training and development.
The role will comprise of reviewing accounts and tax work prepared by other staff members, providing supervision and training as needed. You will also identify general business and tax planning opportunities and implement solutions, and you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the business development and marketing of the firm.
You will ideally hold a professional qualification such as ACCA/ACA and have at least 3-5 years' experience in practice with portfolio management, along with a strong knowledge of accounts, payroll, VAT, management accounts, financial statements and Tax.
An understanding of software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks would also be an advantage.
