This role will support the SEN Service for Children’s Services, all areas of Business SupportBusiness Support is the hub of all support for Children’s Services and sits within the Customer Service & Business Support service area and structure.
About the Role
We are looking for an organised Business Support Administrator to provide support to Children’s Services, specifically the Workforce Development Team, which works across Children’s Services to provide training and recruitment to this fast moving environment. You will need to be accurate, have attention to detail and able to multi task within this busy environment on a day to day basis.
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, proactive and flexible Business Support Administrator to provide comprehensive support to the SEN Service within Children’s Services and be able to cross train and provide support across this vast service area where required.
This role will be rewarding if you have a passion to provide comprehensive administrative support and be supportive working closely with colleagues within this welcoming and friendly environment, working towards a smooth and positive experience for all. Your day to day role will work closely with the Service area as well as being part of the Business Support hub and working closely with the Team Leader. You will need to possess a flexible approach and the ability to adapt to the varying changes required within this environment.
You will also need to possess excellent minute taking skills as this role will support any service meetings and/or you may be required to offer support across the rest of the team where there is a need to meet the demand.

Candidate Profile
In order to succeed in this role, you will need a good standard of education and must have excellent ICT skills and knowledge, as well as a flair for assisting with promotion of services, aiming towards a more digitalised environment.
You will need to be an effective and confident communicator, able to liaise well with staff and managers, as well as partner agencies and parents at all levels. You will also need to work to statutory tight deadlines, be able work effectively under pressure and be proactive in forward thinking with the ability to prioritise to meet these deadlines.
Previous experience of working in an administrative role will be required for this post. You will also need to be able to work on your own initiative, work as part of a team and be committed to ensuring high levels of customer care. Experience of working within a SEN environment would be an advantage.
