Administrator

Cumbria County Council is seeking a skilled and organised Administrator to join our team in Carlisle. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the efficient running of our administrative processes, supporting the vital work of the council in serving the community. Key Responsibilities:
General Administration:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to departmental teams.
- Assist with the maintenance of records, databases, and filing systems.
Communication:
- Respond to internal and external queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents.
Meetings and Events:
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, including booking venues and arranging catering.
- Prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute documentation as required.
Data Entry and Analysis:
- Input and update data accurately in line with established procedures.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting tasks as directed.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the resolution of queries and issues.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
