This vacancy is a Full-Time position. In return, you will be given regular supervision, support, and training to develop within the role.
We are looking for someone to join our busy Business Support team within the South Kent Children and Young Person’s Service. We cover the areas of Ashford, Dover and Folkstone and support Social Workers working with children in those areas. This position has a base office of Ashford.
As a Business Support Officer, you will support senior managers and social workers on a range of tasks and work alongside colleagues to assist in the smooth running of the service in South Kent. This is a varied and challenging post and requires someone with excellent organization and communication skills and previous administrative experience. You will be responsible for providing full confidential administrative support, being the first point of contact for families and professionals and recording accurate information on cases. You will also support a range of meetings, organising, and taking accurate minutes. You should be able to proactively manage your workload whilst responding to urgent requests and deadlines and be able to work flexibly alongside team members.
