Business Support Officer Adult Social Care

This vacancy is for a Business Support Officer within Safeguarding Adults team The successful candidate is required to work in an office environment on an alternate weekly basis.

The remaining time the candidate is welcome to work from home (please note this is subject to change, depending on service needs)

Skills required:

• Candidate must be very experienced in minute taking (essential)
• It is essential the candidate has previous experience supporting a Safeguarding team completing administrative duties
• It is essential for the successful candidate to have previous telephone customer service experience (taking phone calls from clients)
• To be able to work in a fast pace multi matrix management team
• To be able to multi-task and demonstrate a flexible approach to workload management to ensure various administrative tasks are completed in order of priority
• To be confident with IT applications such as MS Word and MS Excel
• To be able to learn and utilise different databases To have a solution focused approach
• To provide high quality, consistent, efficient and effective support services within agreed timescales.
• To support various operational and business management teams
• To support diary management, including planning and facilitating meetings and events
• To undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this post
• To deliver support services that ensure high customer satisfaction
• To work effectively as a member of the Business Support Team and collaborate with colleagues where required
