A leading manufacturing organization is looking for experience Buyers/Purchasing assistant to join their team in Eastleigh. Candidates must have experience in managing and optimizing the procurement of indirect materials and services cost-effectively.

Position is Temp to Perm for right candidates.

Pay Rates: 22 - 28ph

Shift Timings : Mon - Friday (7:30AM- 4PM)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and process efficiencies.
• Negotiate contracts, review supplier performance, and manage vendor relationships.
• Continuously monitor market trends and assess supplier capabilities.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement software and tools and use of an MRP / ERP System (SAP would be preferable)
• Adept at building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and results-focused.
