About the role:
Astute's Renewables team is partnered with an electric vehicle (EV) charge point installer and independent connection provider (ICP) who have a large order book and diverse client base across the UK. We're looking to recruit a Site Supervisor to help cover the West Midlands area.
The Site Supervisor role comes with a salary of up to £48,000 and an excellent further package, including a vehicle.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to a Project Manager you will:

• Be responsible for the supervising and managing projects on a day to day basis
• Run jobs to agreed timescales and control and supervise contractors on site
• Attend pre-project and pre-start meetings, progress meetings and project handovers
• Assist the Project Manager with the planning of works and assist with controlling project budgets
• Work cohesively with the wider internal teams and functions, ie the Business Support, Accounts and Shared Services teams
• Manage the site staff according to company HSE requirements
• Survey and programme jobs on a weekly basis and populate the planner with addresses
• Identify material requirements and be involved in site procurement
• Sign off completed jobs for quality
• Create and edit RAMS where required
• Other duties as required

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Full UK driving licence
• SSSTS or SMSTS is essential
• NRSWA Supervisor is essential (or equivalent)
• Emergency First Aid at Work
• A higher education in a relevant field, ie construction management or an electrical qualification

Personal skills:
The Site Supervisor role would suit someone who is/has:

• Excellent computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
• Good project management skills
• A focussed and solution-centric personality

Salary and benefits of the Business Development Manager role:

• Salary depending on experience, up to £48,000
• Commercial Vehicle & paid fuel
• Daily subsistence and accommodation paid if and when staying away
