Responsibilities:
Design Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of CAD designers to produce top-tier designs meeting client specifications and industry benchmarks.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous enhancement within the design division.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate design concepts into project blueprints effectively.
Project Management:
- Oversee the entire design lifecycle, from concept inception to final product delivery.
- Ensure projects adhere to established timelines and budgetary confines.
- Conduct periodic design evaluations to uphold quality benchmarks and pinpoint enhancement opportunities.
Technical Support:
- Serve as a technical authority, offering guidance and assistance to team members and addressing technical inquiries from clients.
- Partner with sales and customer support units to comprehend customer needs and devise tailored solutions.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Liaise closely with various departments, including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing, to seamlessly integrate design concepts into overarching business strategies.
- Participate actively in cross-functional meetings, contributing to strategic deliberations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated track record as a CAD Designer with a robust portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Leadership experience in managing a design team effectively.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.
- Strong problem-solving prowess and analytical acumen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
