Cad Operator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using various software programs. Your expertise in CAD software and your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring accurate and precise designs.

Responsibilities:

- Interpreting project briefs and meeting with clients, engineers, and architects to ensure all blueprints and technical drawings are completed to specifications.

- Producing rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints.

- Visiting sites to gather information, and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.

- Updating software, drawings, and other documents.

- Remaining professional when feedback is delivered, and implementing any changes to drafts as soon as possible.

- Ensuring drawings are compliant with building regulations and engineering principles.

- Communicating potential design issues to engineers and architects.

- Conducting research when required.

Skills and Qualifications: Work experience as a CAD Operator or in a similar position is required. Salary offered: CAD Operator: £26,200 - £39,000 per annum (depends on the experience) Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

Experience:
- Work experience as a CAD Operator or similar position is required
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, S
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
