Job Description
Your key responsibilities as the Cafe Manager are to:
- Proactive management of cafe team. Responsible for day to day operations, supporting, training and people development.
- Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships and client liaison.
- Accountable for maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget.
- Accountable managing breakfast, lunch and afternoon offer in line with company standards ensuring high standard of food presentation and portion/quality control
- Responsible for assisting General Manager to meet and exceed sales targets
- Responsible for working closely with company marketing team to create and maintain café marketing plan
- Work closely with kitchen and hospitality teams to ensure café is staffed and managed as per business requirements
- Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, allergen management, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customer and colleagues.
Working Pattern: 40 hours (Mon-Fri)
Skills and Experience
The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Cafe Manager include:
- Experience in a similar role
- To be professional, polite and well presented whilst providing and maintaining excellent customer care at all times
- Skilled barista and understanding of high street trends
- Proven leadership
