Campaign Manager

Our client, a Sports Media business based on the outskirts of Leeds/Bradford, are experiencing significant growth in 2024 and as a result have exciting recruitment plans. A new opportunity is available in the team for an experienced Campaign Manager to join. This is a newly created role, and we are looking for experienced candidates who can develop and manage digital campaigns, with a focus on email marketing. You will be passionate and ambitious to grow in a thriving company, with excellent initiative to drive this function forward, make suggestions, and have an invaluable contribution to further development of the business, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

As a Campaign Manager you will lead the development of the Email Marketing Strategy for the business, looking at current campaigns and utilising your experience to make recommendations for improvements, as well as creating new campaigns for the purpose of effective lead generation. You will also have key involvement in various Marketing projects, including SEO, Google Ads and Analytics, and Social Media.

Main duties of the Campaign Manager:

• Initially assessing current Email campaigns, their successes and looking at areas of possible improvement
• Setting up all campaigns, being proactive in suggesting new ideas and new content
• Creating email content that is brand representative, creating effective and engaging content
• Working with the CRM system of over 1.5 million Companies, working effectively to ensure the information within the CRM is aligned and utilised
• Assessing the systems used for email marketing, to ensure open rate is maximised, can it be improved etc.
• Working with more tech related areas including changing IP addresses or Domains, around the effectiveness of campaigns
• Some exposure to SEO, assessing Google Ads and Analytics
• Other projects working with the MD related to Digital Marketing

Experience required:

• Essential: 3-4+ years experience within a similar Campaign Manager or focused Email Marketing role, with responsibility of managing effective campaigns and demonstrable success.
• Experience in working with Email Movers or similar email marketing led software.
• Proactive and 'ideasy' in your approach, to be able to suggest new innovative ways of email marketing within the business.
• Proactive, curious and focused in your approach.
• A diligent approach, very aware of the difference that your contribution and role can make.

• An interest in sport is a help but not an essential.
• Naturally creative.
