Reporting to the Finance & IT Director and managing an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for controllingall property and other capital accounting transactions, managing the property asset database and ensuring correct accounting under component accounting rules. You will also assist the Finance & IT Director to manage operational cash flow and ensure correct accounting of interest and other loan payments.
This is a key finance position for a part of fully qualified accountant which will enable you to use and develop your inter-personal and business partnering skills whilst providing a quality service and influencing decisions in a growing and innovative organisation.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience and knowledge of capital accounting and component depreciation
- Knowledge and understanding of the accounting process from payment of invoices through to production of accounts
- Excellent IT Skills (Sun Accounting and Sun Vision (Q&A) Excel)
- The ability to manage and develop team members
- A positive “can do” attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication skills
Full or Part Qualified ((CIPFA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA/AAT) is also essential.
