Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, this role is a key member of the Logistics team, responsible for supporting and ensuring the flow of deliveries of Pirelli products within the UK
Role responsibilities include:
Managing the inbound flow, ensuring stock per Item is delivered to the right location, in line with the stock target
Generating reports for both internal and external customers
Close liaison with the contact centre over stock movement and availability
Identifying any back order issues and communicating with the commercial team accordingly
Understanding the process flows, and helping to identify where improvements can be made
Liaison with third parties ie Milan, Hauliers
Involvement in stock takes as and when required
Supporting with month-end activities
Involvement and support with internal and external audits
Any other duties as deemed required
Essential Criteria
Degree level education
Work experience / placement experience within a large organisation
Analytical skills
Commercial awareness
Computer literate (good knowledge of Microsoft Excel)
Confident and accurate with data extraction, manipulation and analysis
Good numerical and literacy skills
Good interpersonal skills, able to liaise with internal and external customers at different levels within the organisation
Self-motivated and resilient
High level of attention to detail
Fluent in English
Desirable Criteria
SAP knowledge would be a benefit
Experience of working within a UK Logistics function within a large organisation
We are looking for someone proactive and engaging with a high level of attention to detail, who is able to manage the flow of car tyres. The ability to establish, develop and maintain relationships with good communication skills is critical, along with strong analytical skills.
The successful applicant will work 37.5 hours per week, 8.30 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, although flexibility is required to work beyond these hours when required.
We do have a Smart working policy (hybrid working) in place which is 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. For any new starters to the business, there will be an initial requirement to be in the office on a full-time basis.
Salary for this role will be £34k - £38k per annum, depending upon skills, background and experience.
