Care Assistant

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Duties:
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Escort clients to appointments or social outings
- Document client information accurately and maintain confidentiality

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a plus
- Familiarity with care home or home care settings is beneficial
- Proficient in English language (written and verbal)
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
