Care Coordinator

ABOUT THE ROLE

Medacs Homecare division is currently recruiting for a Care Coordinator to be based working from ourBristol offices.

This is a full time role which is 5 days a week, 37.5 hours working a mix of shifts 7am-3pm and 10am-6pm on a rota basis.

You may also need to cover care calls outside of your core working hours and this is paid in addition to your salary and be part of the on-call rota for weekends to support the out of hours team which can include care visits.

Here's some of the key responsibilities:

• Making sure Care Workers are fully briefed before commencing a care package
• Flexible approach to working hours on a rota basis is required
• Managing timekeeping and absences of the care workforce
• Ensuring that all service user clients are regularly contacted via a monitoring telephone call
• Keeping all files updated
• Managing the process for recording and actioning any complaints and concerns
• Working closely with the Recruitment Team and Registered Branch Manager to review Care Worker candidate attraction
• Deal with all payroll and invoice requests or queries
• Assisting with preparation of timesheets
• Understanding and attending relevant training to enhance skills and service delivery
• Responsibility for Care Worker rotas; creating consistent and stable rotas and ensuring rotas are produced and communicated in a timely fashion
• Identify domiciliary care workers that would be appropriate for NVQ/QCF placement and advise the training team
• Covering Care Worker shift for care visits as necessary

ABOUT YOU

Experienced as a Care Coordinator or within a similar Homecare sector role you will be looking to progress your career utilising your strong organisation, administration, and IT skills.
