The purpose of the job is:
- To coordinate care delivery services to all clients and service users within the service area
- To maintain the integrity and accuracy of all data stored in the computer and filing system and ensure that all bookings are correctly recorded and information is kept up-to-date at all times
- To provide a cover care service and deliver care from time to time when emergencies, or short-term requirements present such a need, and in the absence of any other member of staff
- To record all communications into and out of the office in the prescribed manner, using the pre printed Care coordinators day book and client contact sheets
- To interview and recruit suitable staff and carers and to ensure all carers are inducted and trained to enable them to deliver a quality service
- To participate in 'on call' duty on a regular basis and when requested as an emergency
