Care Home Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Manager to oversee the care and well-being of our residents. As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our assisted living facility and ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care.

Duties:
- Overall running of the home.
- Coordinate and supervise a team of caregivers, ensuring that they provide personalized care to each resident
- Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, including scheduling staff, maintaining inventory, and overseeing maintenance and housekeeping tasks
- Communicate regularly with residents' families to provide updates on their loved ones' well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses and doctors, to ensure that residents receive appropriate medical care
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
- Implement programs and activities to promote socialization and engagement among residents

Skills:
- Previous experience in a residential home or nursing home settings is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and ability to manage complex medication regimens
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively oversee daily operations
- Ability to develop care plans tailored to each resident's specific needs
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to provide exceptional senior care
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
