Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced care worker to join our team in a management/care role As the Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our small residential. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of care plans, and experience in a residential or nursing home setting.
To join us as Deputy Home Manager you will need to:
Hold or working towards NVQ4 in Health and Social Care (or the equivalent) and a willingness to undertake further training depending on the needs of the home.
Be a Moving and handling trainer or willing to undertake the necessary training
Be competent using online care plans and management software.
Have good all round computer skills including online ordering, Microsoft 365 and outlook.
As Deputy Manager you will assist the Home Manager to maintain the highest standards and promote continuity of care across both day and night shifts. You will support the team to ensure all of our residents enjoy the best possible quality of life. You will achieve this through leading by example and raising standards through regular monitoring and audits, supervising practice, and checking our regulatory compliance.
You will work closely with the Home Manager; taking on leadership duties in her absence, you can expect to help with everything from delivering care “at the bedside” to administering all aspects of the homes operational management to achieve business objectives and comply with regulations.
