Our client is currently recruiting for a Care Manager for a brand-new high-impact service, designed to facilitate a pathway out of long-term hospitalisation. They are a leading care provider located in Gloucestershire; specialising in providing support to people who may have a learning disability, physical disability, mental health needs, or neurodiversity. Their central goal is to empower people to enjoy a life that is engaging and fulfilling, through their new innovative approach to care.

Day-to-day responsibilities of the Care Manager:
- Manage daily operations of the service, ensuring the maintenance of high-quality standards.
- Lead and manage staff including recruitment, induction, training, appraisals, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
- Monitor budgets, identify, and implement efficiency measures.
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and health of all individuals who access the services by identifying and managing risks.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory bodies, ensuring any concerns or issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner.
- Incident reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Significant management experience within the Health or Social Care sector.
- A strong understanding of regulatory expectations and compliance requirements within the supported housing sector.
- Demonstrate experience working with vulnerable adults or young people.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
In return, my client is offering an annual salary up to GBP37,000 per annum. Please note, this is a full-time permanent position.
