Our client, a prestigious London University, is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join them as a temporary Careers Student Engagement Officer. The position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week, initially spanning 6-8 weeks. The role embraces a hybrid working model, with 4 days per week based on-site in Central London and one day working remotely.
Key Responsibilities for this role include:
- Serving as the initial point of contact for students, graduates, and other stakeholders, providing insightful information and advice for inquiries.
- Proficiently utilizing the CRM system to ensure the streamlined delivery of services.
- Championing the student voice by organizing and facilitating surveys and focus groups to collect and analyse feedback, thereby informing enhancements to the Careers service.
- Maintaining open lines of communication with both staff and students to ensure consistency and clarity of information across Careers and other professional service areas.
- Collaborating with the Information Manager in creating, developing, and updating digital and printed information resources. To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a higher education setting or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in customer service, particularly in providing information, advice, and guidance to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in using various IT systems, including expertise in spreadsheet-based data analysis. The position aims to start as soon as possible, requiring candidates to be available immediately or have a short notice period to be considered.
