Camden Carers is a charity organisation that provides support and services to informal carers within the London Borough of Camden.
Main Purpose of the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Camden Carers and make a difference to people’s lives in Camden. We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic and flexible team member, with lived experience as an unpaid mental health carer.
Camden Carers proactively embraces equality, diversity and anti-racism at the very core of what we do. We are committed to ensuring that all carers have equal access to our service, regardless of their background, belief, sexual orientation, disability, gender or ethnicity.
Carers, who provide unpaid care for a family member, partner or friend with a disability or long-term illness, play a vital role in our community. Many people who have someone who depends on them for support don’t consider themselves a carer, yet they are fundamental to the effort to keep that person safe and well.
This is an exciting new opportunity for someone with lived experience as an unpaid mental health carer to offer support to carers and staff across the NHS North London Mental Health Partnership. You will be joining our dynamic team in providing support and information to unpaid carers in the London Borough of Camden. The aim of this role is to raise carer awareness, increase identification and assist carers to access support and information across the NHS North London Mental Health Partnership (NLMPH).
