Founded in 1910 Scudamore's is Cambridge's premier punt tour and boat hire company, and we are all about creating unforgettable memories for our visitors.
We are now seeking friendly Cashier and Customer Service Representatives, and we would love to hear from you if you are keen to join our close-knit, hardworking team. You will be responsible for handling transactions, providing excellent Customer Service and ensuring the smooth operation of our punting business.
We are open all year around and operate a rolling recruitment programme, with full and part time roles on offer. No experience is necessary as full training is provided, with regular training courses running every month.
What's involved?
- Operating a welcoming, efficient and courteous ticketing and information service.
- Bringing a high level of accuracy and security to payment handling and station administration.
- Keeping track of the tour schedule and self-hire craft as well as helping customers to board and disembark.
- Maintaining a safe working environment for all.
What’s on offer?
- Competitive remuneration package of up to £25,840 per annum - £24,840 and a performance related bonus of up to £1,000 (pro rata for part-time staff).
- Full time (40 hrs) or Part time hours available.
- 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
- 28 days’ paid holiday per annum (pro rata for part-time staff) and pension contributions.
