- You will be part of a team who ensure the preparation and delivery of a food and beverage service to patients.
- As a Catering Assistant you will be responsible for the service of all food and drink to the patients on the wards including managing dietary requirements.
- Additional tasks will consist of the washing of cutlery, replenishing our hot drinks machines and explaining the daily menus across all meals.
- You will be part of a team of Catering Assistants who are fundamental in ensuring that all work is carried out in a hygienic and methodical manner and that standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital are in line with our policies.
- Ideally you will be an experienced Catering Assistant from a Healthcare or similar industry with demonstrable experience in a customer facing environment/role.
- The successful candidate will have proven experience of assisting within a catering setting and you must be able to work on your own initiative
- Candidates must have a positive and flexible approach to customer service and strong communication skills.
