A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Catering General Manager to overseen and lead the delivery of catering services at this prestigious Financial Firm in the heart of Birmingham.

Principal accountabilities:
The role is diverse and will include all aspects of venue management; key responsibilities focus on overseeing all operational duties in the smooth running of the unit and lead a catering team of 14, ensuring excellence in all areas from Retail & Staff Dining to Hospitality & Fine Dining and Events. You will be passionate about standards, crazy about good food and able to manage demanding stakeholder relationships.
- To plan, lead and execute the smooth delivery of all operations within the venue and ensure the highest levels of customer service at all time.
- Deliver all financial aspects of the contract for both client and company whilst driving the current business and developing future opportunities.
- In addition to overseeing all F&B you will be tasked with driving development, innovation, and expansion of what is a hugely exciting operation.
- You will be able to proactively make suggestions to clients regarding innovation in food and food service to develop the business, lead and contribute to an excellent client experience as well as ensuring the correct support, training and development is given to the catering team.
You will have and be:
- Experienced in managing catering operations within Contract Catering / corporate environment.
- Financially savvy with a thorough knowledge, understanding of and working with budgets
- Great leadership skills and mountains of personality in leading teams to success, motivating and coaching others
- A genuine understanding of modern innovative food concepts and excellent levels of service
- Strong organisation skills and commercial awareness – seeing beyond the obvious and being resourceful by seizing opportunities and solving problems.
- Great business savvy, an entrepreneurial spirit and self-drive. Someone who think outside the box and bring creativity.
