Reed is currently recruiting for a popular local charity for the position of Fundraising Support Assistant.
- As a Fundraising Support Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for general fundraising enquiries, providing excellent supporter and customer care through face-to-face interactions, telephone, post, email, and website.
- You will also be responsible for delivering high-quality donor care for our fundraisers, providing support for fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and events throughout the year, and preparing and distributing fundraising materials.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for stock control for all the materials, including trading, events, and supporter’s items, ensuring that all activities and contacts are managed through the Charity systems and procedures, and that data is kept up to date.
- You will attend and contribute to team meetings and ‘away days’ and be an active, invested member of the team.
Does this sounds like you?
- We are looking for someone who is a competent driver with a full clean driving license
- You will have experience of working in a customer-facing role and have administration experience too.
- You will be passionate about the charity sector
- Excellent communication skills are a must and you will have strong planning and organisation/scheduling skills to manage a varied workload
- You must be confident using various IT systems and have a high level of literacy
- You’ll have the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and be willing to work outside of office hours (paid or time off in lieu).
The wage for this position is £21,255 (scope up to £22,643 with experience) and the core hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
