We are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious sites based in Central London.
Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout. We serve buffet style breakfast with hot and cold options, Lunch - bistro style, fine dine events, sandwich lunches and canape functions.
40 hours per week. Monday to Friday - Permanent - 7.00am to 3.30pm
We are looking for a positive, honest and reliable employee to join our friendly and hardworking team. We can offer good training and prospects within our team for the right candidate.
As our Chef de Partie, you will:
- Have excellent people skills
- Have excellent knowledge of food safety
- Be able to manage a section
- Be passionate about food and customer service
- Have superb culinary skills
- Have experience of working with fresh food
- Have an input on the items that go on the menu
- Have good organisational and communication skills
- Be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a large team
- Be eligible to work in the UK
You will be able to create and develop our dishes and will assist the Chefs in creation of weekly menus. A knowledge and understanding of the important of stock and food wastage is essential.
