Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at The Cumberland. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Cook menu items in accordance with recipes and portion control guidelines
- Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented in an appealing manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of meals
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to work well as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 48 per week
