I'm excited to share an opportunity for a talented Chef to join our team at The Seaview, a charming seaside restaurant located at Country Road, John o Groats, KW1 4YR.
As a Chef at The Seaview, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. You'll work closely with our team to develop and execute a diverse menu that will delight our guests and keep them coming back for more.
We are looking for a skilled Chef who is creative, organized, and able to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare meals according to our menu and standards
- Ensure that all food preparation and cooking is of the highest quality
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Work collaboratively with the front of house staff to ensure a smooth dining experience for our guests
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working as a Chef in a restaurant or similar setting
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
