SalaryThe Barn Cafe are seeking a full-time chef to join our small, friendly team for the remainder of our season at Sands Caravan & Camping, Gairloch.
Great new accommodation is provided that will have your own kitchen, bathroom and bedroom charged £45 while you work.
This is a temporary position. The season ends on the 30th October.
We require a Chef de Party to help the head chef and work his day off. The cafe is open 7 days a week and we also have a takeaway where we serve meals over the weekend and every night in the summer. Roles can include:
- Preparing food items whilst adhering to food hygiene and safety standards
- Assist with cleaning and organisation of the kitchen
- Helping with the KP area
- Preparing lunches
- Operating all kitchen appliances
- Working in the takeaway hut
The ideal candidate:
- Has experience in a similar small-team environment
- Hardworking
- Good team player
- Clean and organised
- Warm and welcoming
- Good under pressure
- Has ability to multitask
- Willing to learn
- Flexible with work hours and split shifts
